Today is the first birthday of Mom's since she has passed, and I find myself a little depressed. I usually would have called her by now and said happy birthday, and been told "yeah, right"
I have been having a lot of memories run through my mind today, and it (so far) has been nice, but I really miss being able to pick up the phone and say hi to her.
Mom...I know you are in a much better place and not hurting anymore, but I do miss and love you very much.
