Thoughts

You know I am looking for a new job, and would really like to start one before September, so I put my resume online, and it looks like the only thing I am qualified to do is work retail. Which is not a bad thing, because I generally love talking to people all the time, but it is depressing, because I spent 1 1/2 years getting an Associates degree in Travel and Tourism. Boy, I really should have thought my options through better and gone into medical assisting or something to do with computers, because the travel industry is just sucking lately. There is no need for a travel agent when you can book all your stuff online with Price Line, etc etc etc. I have thought about going back to school, but finding the time is hard too, because my work is not flexible with hours when you are a manager, so what is a girl to do?? No!!! I won't do that!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Help!!! I am so needing advice.

Okay

So...I went to the interview and did just fine. But at the end they started saying how you are monitored every second of every day that you are there and that if you are even a minute late the counsel you on this. Also that you can't take any time off the first 8 months that you are there. Well that would be fine but we all know how busy my life is, I have a sister having a baby in October and a friend in California that is getting married in March, and I also will get to see my Dad while we are in California. So, of course, this means I have things to do and places to be in the next 8 months and my family is very important to me, so NO if they call me back, I will not be taking the job there. So, in a nut shell, I am still looking for a new job and if anybody hears of anything, let me know.

Job Interview

Well...I have a job interview with Fed Ex today and I am actually a little nervous about it. But with all the good things it will bring us, I really don't want to screw it up. If I get it, I will be making $14.50 and hour to start, have benefits, be within 3 miles of home, and work Monday through Friday, which makes it all worth while.
I am getting frustrated already because I can't get my hair straightened because I am sweating like a pig, and I just want to make a good impression. But Oh well.....we will just have to see what they say. I will post the results as soon as I know.

. day out.

when spending time with kids, it's ultimately the people around them that are required to force them into photos. that's right, force.

kids like to smile, do silly stuff...

it is our job as adults to save these things for future generations to think...what the heck was that kid doing? who the heck took that photo? what? where? when?

i hope these are saved forever! and i hope those future generations...i hope they see noah's photo and giggle just like we did when we said pose, and he did that.

man that kid has smarts, gumption and a whole lot of personality!

sarah was so silent and sweet and good natured!

adam...adam was just willing to smile and do whatever his auntie fran said.

these are great kids. full of promise and hope.

i loved spending time with them, thanks frannie and thank you to the kids for not laughing at me.

and the why, is just because. the when july 9th, 2008 and the where was memory grove.

the kids did the rest!

Sarge..aka BUG

I guess it's about time!!

I have been getting grief from some of my friends how I don't post enough on my and Deon's blog, so I am going to try harder to get it done.
A few things have happened lately....
1. Deon got his pup, Sarge(aka BUG) that is my nickname for him. He is so darn cute and such a handful that I don't know if I want to kiss him or tranquilize him. He has so much more energy than Stormy did at that age and he is a lot bigger than her at this age too. But what great dogs I have. I love them to pieces. Deon says that we will never be able to go on vacation again unless we can find places that they can go to too. LOL!!
2. I got to have my 3 of my sister's kids down from Idaho for a week. Sarah, Noah and Adam...and we had a good time with them. We went to the zoo, to Hanna to see my friend Jean, to the park and lazed around the house. On Thursday, the day before they came home, Aaron came and stayed with us, and it was great seeing him too. Penny and Neil got to do delivers in the semi and have a night alone for once. hehehehee...she's already pregnant so don't worry about that.
But mostly, besides work, we are trying our hardest to get this house all set up and organized. We have been here for pretty much two months now and our garage is still full to the ceiling with our stuff. I may have to hire a cleaning crew to help me get through it all. Any volunteers????
So there,....now I have published something on here and have nobody to really read it cause I can't figure out how to send invites out to my site. What a loser I am!!! lol
