Our apple tree is growing out of control, so Deon decided that we needed to start trimming it back. Plus, it's the easiest way to pick the apples off the highest branch...LOL!! So here goes Lumberjack Deon into the tree. This time though, I made him use a ladder, instead of falling out of the tree like last time. It's a long story...hahahahaaa!!!

I don't have a good apple pie recipe, but I did try to make applesauce, let's just say it was a learning experience. Mine turned out more like the apples at Cracker Barrel. But then again, I am not a big fan of apples
Hummmmm apple sauce would be good too. You should put red hots in it instead of the sugar...yum that is good~~.
I don't think I've had the apples at Craker Barrel but my guess is I would not like them.
We have made apple butter before but for the life of me I can't remember what you do with it? Eat it, spread it on your bread? who knows.
Oh I know you can slice them and dehydrate them for your hunting trips!! Now that is good too.
